My background is in fashion but I had a desire to fill a creative void so I started making jewelry. To cultivate my skills I enrolled in jewelry classes so that I could get the basics down. This led me to working with acrylics, carving wax and forging metal. My inspiration is drawn from my appreciation of art, architecture and nature. I found that I take great pleasure in creating things with my hands. I enjoy the process of using varied skills and techniques to create a visually striking and distinctively unique piece. There is a great deal of trial & error in which I always find the beauty in both. I make every piece by hand and strive to make jewelry that is both original and aesthetically pleasing. There is a lot of love and effort that goes into my jewelry. I truly believe supporting handmade crafts is key because you are aiding in building a community of artisans who really care about the integrity of their quality product.
